You've got to be Joiking

The first Joik is very mysterious in the beginning. The tone of the joick seems sad and melancholy. The joick is a very serious and intense joick based on the singers tone and emotion in her voice. The lady also sounds like she's been hurt by someone or something by the way she sings because I think the joik has to deal with a tough situation the singer may have gone through. The second joik seems more like a pop and rock and roll style joik. The second joik was way more uplifting and had a faster beat. This joik still had that intense feeling when the singer was singing, allowing the singer to make the audience feel the emotion of the joik.

By watching these joik videos I have now realized that you do not need to speak the same language to be able to feel a certain emotion. I believe music could be considered a language because music influences a wide array of audiences around the world. Music also invokes a feeling towards the listeners allowing others to understand and feel what the singer or band is singing. I think other actions that make a person feel emotion is facial expressions and body language. I believe these actions are universal and based on a facial expression I think people are able to determine how a person is feeling.
