Hi fun kou gai (Japanese): This Japanese term is a kind of righteous, miserable anger, a frustration and despair over a situation that seems terrible but cannot be changed. Like corruption in a government, or a friend's bad treatment.
I believe that I am able to relate with this word because it connects with the way I deal with challenges. When something bad happens to me I get mad and sad but I always tell myself to keep moving forward to create a better version of me. At the moment my grandma has been in the hospital because she has lung cancer, and it is sad to her keep going back to the hospital. Her condition can be changed a little but but it can not be helped very much. It upsets me and makes me angry but I know that I need to be able to support her and live my life despite challenges I face at home.

Poem: A line that resinated with me in the ode on Melancholy poem was: "For shade to shade will come too drowsily, And drown the wakeful anguish of the soul"(Keats 10). I liked this part of the poem because t made me think of these shadows and the influence it has on a person. It is such a deep quote that explains the effects of sadness and how it can effect a person. The way people deal with sadness is different and reading this quote made me think of how people handle sadness. There are going to be dark presences in our life and I think figuring out how to deal with negativity shows how emotionally strong you are as a person.
