Kuidaore (Japanese): To go bankrupt because you spend all your money on food and drink.
Kuidaore stood out to me because I relate to the meaning of the word as I spend majority of my money on food. It makes me think of the time when I went to the Punahou carnival with my friends, because I spent more money on the food than on the rides and the games. I think I can incorporate kuidaore in my daily life to describe to my friends that I can not go shopping for spending most of my money on food.
The word I chose for my visual illustration is Tarab. Tarab is Arabic and means: a musically induced state of ecstasy or enchantment. I chose this word to do my illustration on because this word allowed me to visualize the meaning of the word in a creative way. It made me think of magic and the meaning brought me joy since I listen to music often.
